A liquid herbal extract in an alcohol or glycerine base. Tinctures take a minimum of two weeks to produce and require additional processing, so they're priced a little higher than powders — but they're easy to dose by dropper, fast-absorbing, and have a longer shelf life. Tinctures are usually easier to mix into a beverage (like juice) for consumption.
The alcohol content is very small (comparable to a ripe banana) — it won't make you drunk and doesn't taste like alcohol.
Dried and ground herbs. Versatile — stir into food, water, or fill capsules. Often preferred for pets and for those who prefer to avoid an alcohol base. Some herbs may have a slightly unpleasant taste or thicker textures, which may make them harder to blend into or mask with a beverage.
